地震と津波による甚大な被害を受けた宮城県石巻市牡鹿半島において開催された、復興支援ワークショップ。建築を専門とする者としての視点から、それぞれの浜の環境や都市構造を読み取り、住民の意向を丁寧に汲み取ることによって、浜の環境の良さを活かしたきめ細やかな復興ビジョンを提案しました。千葉研究室では、小竹浜、折浜、蛤浜の３浜に対して現地調査とヒアリング、復興計画の提案を行い、現在も行政と連携し計画の実現に向けて継続的に支援を行っています。

 

This is a recovery program workshop, held in Oshika Peninsula, Ishinomaki-shi, Miyagi prefecture, which suffered tremendous damage from 311 earthquake and tsunami. With architecture professional background, we analyzed the environment around the beach and the original urban context, also arrange local residents intension and opinion. We proposed detailed revival vision and plans which brings good benefits to the beach environment. Chiba lab have participated Ootakehama, Orihama, and Oshamahama, 3 different beaches recovery program, starting from field surveys and interviews. The recovery program is still operating since nowadays, providing supports for the revival.
